Prime MRM includes both a Message board \ Guestbook module that allows you to either setup discussion message boards that are categorized by Main category and subject.  The message Board includes a main index page to quickly access the topics and threads that are of interest to you.

Users are able to sign up to receive automated E-mail alerts when a new post is made either in a topic they are watching or all topics and threads in the site.  A convenient RSS feed give the users the most convenient way to keep up to date on breaking news and messages.

This module can also be used to post specific topic category messages on relevant pages within you website. Users will not need to browse through categories of messages the most important or critical announcements can be displayed directly on the homepage or other pages in full view when entering the site.

The Message board \ Guestbook can be configured for public posting, private postings or locked to view the topic.  You can also either allow or deny HTML in messages as well as adding attachments to posts.  This is a very flexible module which gives you exactly what you need rather than settling for some pre-determined format.
